CENFROCAFE is an association of coffee producers, with headquarters in Jaén, Cajamarca department, and its operations extend to the provinces of San Ignacio in the same department and Bagua in the department of Amazonas.

Coffee is grown on mixed crop, small family farms.

The coffee is washed and pulped by hand on the farm with equipment that may be shared by several families, dried on tables under cover.

The short harvest starts in April and runs into May.

The coffee has a bright, spicy aroma, medium body, caramel flavour and sweet orange acidity and balanced sweetness.
