Process – Fully washed
On the shore of Lake Kivu, Kopakama producers have always been focused on establishing a stable price and market for their coffee. Profits from coffee sales have been used for building washing stations and providing access to water and electricity for the community.
‘Ejo Heza’ (a beautiful tomorrow) is farmed collectively by 244 women, this has enabled more women to be members of the cooperative and to directly benefit from coffee farming. At Turning Point Coffee we support gender equality across our supply chain.
