*We are constantly hunting for exceptional “Next Level” coffee flavours and when we find them, we are excited to share it with you. Next Level coffees are difficult to find, therefore, it is our only product that may occasionally be sourced from a non-certified farm. This does not necessarily mean that the coffee is not organically produced, the producers sometimes may not have the means to fund the certification process or may work in other sustainable ways. Either way, we will always work with like-minded producers that share our values of being good to our planet and people as well as share our passion for quality coffee.

Karatu production is in the Githunguri sub county; Kiambu county. The three parcels of land lie between 1883m above sea level.
After harvesting all the coffee undergoes the wet processing method. Water is pumped from River Rwabura to the reservoir tanks for pulping and recirculation. Red, ripe cherries are separated from under-ripes, over-ripes, this process ensures a clean, bright, and complex cup.
With the rising awareness of the need to conserve the environment, Karatu wet mill processing utilizes clean river water that's later re-circulated, before it is disposed of in seepage pits to avoid environmental contamination.
Before the coffee is delivered to the dry mill for secondary processing, it's dried in the sun on traditional raised beds.
